Actually things started going downhill BEFORE I got out of bed. First I woke at about 3:30am with a cramp in my left leg, which made me get out of bed and walk it off... so 15 minutes later I crawled back into my nest, only to get a cramp in the other leg. So, up I get, and I walked around the room for another 15 minutes.
I debated going back to bed, because by this time, I was wide awake. Well I walked out to the fridge and poured a glass of milk, then decided it was worth a try. I must have fell back to sleep eventually, because the next time I opened my eyes, it was 8:15.
Meanwhile, my wife was snoring away, sounded much like a cat drowning in oatmeal. She was totally oblivious to my earlier situation... I swear she can sleep through just about anything.
Anyway I got out of bed and started my morning rituals, turn on coffee pot, get mug, put in coffee, sugar... off to the bathroom. Pour water into mug, a little cream, stir, and off to the computer. I only do this to see if the world has ended or not. So far today it hasn't. Although if Trump and that little Korean, otherwise lovingly called Rocket Man by Trump keep their verbal diarrhea up, one can never be sure if the end is nigh... I'd suggest stealing an old wooden school desk for something to hide under, should the nukes start falling!
After coming to the conclusion the Earth will go on for another day, I opened Twitter, and saw a Tweet about a news story from our local paper talking about our Transit system. It went on to say that there is now an app that lets you track the progress of your bus, letting you know where your bus is at any given moment.
Well that rubbed me the wrong way, since there are so many dayum detours lately with the Transit system, because I'm often already on the bus, and have no idea where I'm at, every stop is somewhere I don't recognize or want to be at. You'd think after all these years, the city would have the roads completed.
Before I leave, and leave I shall, I don't want to bore anyone to sleep, I wanted to mention that this morning, after my wife finally fell out of bed, she asked me to make breakfast. Breakfast is something I don't normally do, but you know what they say, Happy wife, happy life. So this morning I did breakfast. I made us breakfast wraps.
I used 4 eggs, several strips of bacon, green and red pepper, onion, mushrooms, and two kinds of cheese, some mayo and salsa, they turned out GREAT! I am going to write the recipe out and put it in my Recipes page sometime soon. You'll love them! So the day hasn't been all bad.
At the moment we are waiting for our usual friday call from our grandson, Hurricane Braeden, I'm sure the phone will soon ring...
well people, lets keep blogging and rolling along....
Have a Great Weekend!
